It was on this date, June 10, back in 1752 that Benjamin Franklin performed probably his most famous act of insanity. You all know the story... His diary entry for the day probably read something like this:
"June 10, 1752 -- Flew kite with key attached in bad rain storm. Kite struck by some strange light in the sky. (Note to self: don't do this again.)"
